Bengals add DE to practice squad roster

CINCINNATI -- The Cincinnati Bengals made a practice squad move Tuesday, adding defensive end Kendrick Adams to that portion of their roster.

A 6-foot-5, 252-pound lineman, Adams comes to the Bengals after having spent a portion of this season with the Cleveland Browns. He played in the Browns' first three preseason games before getting waived near the end of camp on Aug. 27. He recorded eight tackles in those games.

Adams is a first-year NFL player. After signing out of LSU with the Jacksonville Jaguars last May, he spent the 2012 season with Tampa Bay, Detroit and Cleveland as a practice squad player.
