For the third straight season, overseer of ESPN's Stats & Info blog, Mark Simon, is unveiling his weekly picks for "Punter of the Week." In an effort to recognize one of the more undervalued positions on the football field, Simon will be checking out the stats from all the NFL's games along with taking submissions from fans. You can use the hashtag #punteroftheweek each Monday to get Mark's attention.
So what does this have to do with the Cincinnati Bengals?
Along with recognizing the top punter, Mark will be awarding an "Honorable Mention" and an "Agony of the Feet" award. The agony award goes to the best punter in a losing effort.
You guessed it. After preventing the explosive Devin Hester from turning in his normal big-play punt return performance in Chicago's 24-21 win over Cincinnati, Huber was named this week's "Agony of Feet" winner.
As he played keep-away from Hester, Huber had punts of 53, 44, 46 and 50 yards. Hester was only able to muster one return yard on those four kicks, two of which went out of bounds deep in Chicago territory.
This week, Huber will be punting to Steelers receiver and return man Antonio Brown. Against Tennessee last weekend, Brown only returned one punt for a yard.
