Bengals' AFC North foes and the offseason

For some teams, this has been a busy offseason, full of major moves and mega spending.

Others, like the Cincinnati Bengals, haven't made quite as big a free agency splash. But they, too, have still addressed personnel needs that should get them spending well within the cap limit, and putting on the field players they believe will make their clubs better.

While the NFL has not yet released the 2014 regular-season schedule, we do already have an idea of who the Bengals will be playing and where. They have inter-conference matchups with the NFC South this fall, as well as games with the AFC South and fellow 2013 AFC division winners Denver and New England. The final six games on the schedule will comprise the traditional home and road tilts against the rest of the AFC North.

The league's full schedule with dates and times is expected to be announced later this month.

In the meantime, let's take a quick look back at some of the moves that defined the offseason for the Bengals' 2014 opponents. We began Thursday with the teams on the Bengals' home slate. The Friday breakdown dissected Cincinnati's road opponents. Saturday's explores the rest of the AFC North.
