CINCINNATI -- We now have full contract numbers for seven of the Cincinnati Bengals' eight recent draft picks, thanks to ESPN Stats & Information.
The eighth and final player, first-round cornerback selection Darqueze Dennard, still isn't under contract yet, although he has practiced since voluntary organized team activities began last week. He's expected to sign soon.
After posting last week the contract details of second-round pick Jeremy Hill, as well as the Bengals' fourth- through seventh-round selections, below are the specifics behind contracts for third-round pick Will Clarke and fourth-round pick Russell Bodine. Clarke comes to Cincinnati in part as a replacement for defensive end Michael Johnson, who signed earlier this offseason as a free agent with the Buccaneers. Clarke could play both on the outside of the defensive line, as well as on its interior in certain situations.
Bodine will be spending this summer competing for playing time with fellow centers Mike Pollak and Trevor Robinson. During last week's lone open OTA on Tuesday, Bodine and Robinson rotated in and out at center. Pollak was shelved as he fights through an injury. Pollak was re-signed in March for two seasons.
As the No. 88 pick in the draft, Clarke will make nearly $2.8 million across the next four seasons. He was previously slotted to make that much based on the rookie wage scale the league set forth as part of the latest collective bargaining agreement. Per that wage scale, his contract was expected to begin with a cap value of $556,345 this season. He will indeed make that much, and take home $545,380 of guaranteed money across the life of his contract. All of the guaranteed money comes from his signing bonus, which will be paid in $114,114 installments each year.
Clarke also is eligible to make $40,000 in workout bonuses beginning next year. His workout bonus would be $10,000 in 2015 and $15,000 in both 2016 and 2017.
Bodine also will end up making what he was slotted. He will bring in just less than $2.7 million across the next four seasons. His full signing bonus, nearly $460,000, is guaranteed, too.
Here's a breakdown of Clarke and Bodine's deals:
