Highlights: The Browns hit it big a year ago when Crowell, Gabriel, Williams and Gipson were major contributors to a team that started 7-4. But the success of the undrafted players has sunk with the team’s hopes this season. Crowell leads the team in carries, but averages 3.2 yards per carry and is on pace to gain 529 yards -- less than he had as a rookie. Gabriel has just 26 catches and has missed two games with a concussion. Williams has leveled off, and Gipson is not close to the Pro Bowl form he showed one year ago. The Browns’ undrafted guys are simply not making major contributions to a losing team.
