Rutgers adds experience with Tyree Graham

New Rutgers coach Mike Rice announced today the signing of junior college shooting guard Tyree Graham, a former player at Texas Tech. Rice should help a Scarlet Knights team that lost leading scorer Mike Rosario to a transfer.

Graham averaged 17 points per game at a North Carolina junior college, transferring closer to home 13 games into his freshman season at Texas Tech due to family reasons.

"He already has the experience of playing the collegiate game at a high level," Rice said of Graham in a statement. "Tyree has the reputation of being not only a scorer, but a fierce competitor. We are going to look for him to produce right away."
