Far be it from me to poke fun at anyone's golf skills. My ability to exceed 100 strokes, no matter how well I'm hitting the ball, is downright legendary. But it's always fun to giggle at someone else's awful golf swing -- again, I should know, because those giggles usually come my way -- and today, Draymond Green has given us that opportunity.
Playing in a charity golf event in Saginaw, Mich., Green demonstrated a comedic golf performance on par with anything Charles Barkley's done in the past two years. It's entirely possible Green's longest shots came on the green. It wasn't pretty.
To be fair, though, it was the Michigan State forward's first time ever playing golf, and playing golf for the first time as an adult pretty much guarantees you're going to stink at golf. It's not our fault we were too busy playing real sports as kids, right Draymond? Right? (You know I'm right.)
