Dartmouth coach resigns

Terry Dunn has resigned as Dartmouth head coach on the eve of the team's Ivy League opener, the school announced Friday.

Dartmouth assistant coaches Mark Graupe, Michael Brown and Tim Lane will coach the team when it plays Harvard tomorrow, and an interim head coach is expected to be announced next week, according to the school.

Dunn compiled a 37-103 record in his five-plus seasons at Dartmouth, which is 3-10 record this season.

Dunn becomes the second Ivy League coach to depart during the season. Penn removed Glen Miller as its head coach last month.

The announcement comes 10 days after twin brother Jerry Dunn, an associate head coach at Michigan, said he would take an indefinite leave of absence due to personal family matters.
