Fortunately, Syracuse basketball player Kris Joseph is a basketball player. Ergo, he doesn't have to be good at tennis. Even better, despite being definitively not good at tennis, Joseph was willing to play tennis anyway, merely for the purposes of entertainment. And, dare I say, enlightenment.
Joseph is doing a mini web series for the Syracuse Post-Standard, in which he and Syracuse guard Scoop Jardine try to play various sports against fellow Syracuse athletes. First up was tennis, video of which you can see here. Jardine had a scheduling conflict, so Joseph had to hit the hard court by himself. It went about as well as you'd imagine.
Anyway, this feature holds tremendous promise for the future. If Kris Joseph and Scoop Jardine aren't testing the structural integrity of pommel horse by episode three, I'll be vastly disappointed.
