Government takes on one-and-done rule

We know President Obama is a big college basketball fan, and now we know what Secretary of Education Arne Duncan thinks of the NBA one-and-done rule. Here are some of his quotes, courtesy of TrueHoop, after Duncan's speech at the NCAA convention Thursday in Atlanta.

"And on your point, I think what's happening now is so intellectually dishonest. It's a farce. It's not 'one-and-done.' They're in class for about three months or four months. Maybe six hours a week. They're really not participating in the life of the university. They're really not student athletes. They're passing through."

Duncan, who played basketball at Harvard, also took on the NCAA regarding graduation rates and "renegade" coaches.
