Tournament Challenge: 8.15 million brackets

At the start of the 2013 NCAA tournament, the final number of brackets entered into our Tournament Challenge is 8.15 million. Last year, we had 6.45 million brackets entered.

Here are the most popular picks to win it all:

Louisville: 21.9 percent (As a comparison, 35.1 percent of brackets picked Kentucky last year.)

Indiana: 17.9 percent

Miami: 10.7 percent

Kansas: 8.3 percent

Duke: 7.9 percent

Ohio State: 6.2 percent

Gonzaga: 5.6 percent

Georgetown: 3.5 percent

Florida: 3.1 percent

Michigan State: 3.0 percent

Michigan: 2.6 percent

Syracuse: 1.5 percent

(No one else over 1 percent)

Louisville (39.7 percent) and Indiana (32.3 percent) are the most popular picks to reach the title game, with 14.8 percent of brackets picking those two teams to play for the championship.

The combination of Louisville, Ohio State, Kansas and Indiana was picked by 4.5 percent of all brackets. A Final Four with all 1-seeds was taken on 3.9 percent of all brackets.
