Party time for Saint Mary's fans

SAN FRANCISCO -- Saint Mary's NCAA tournament watch parties last week on campus featured such sights as redshirting Gaels forward Kenton Walker II doing the John Wall dance (see KTVU-TV video) and the ringing of the chapel bell.

But with a bigger game comes a bigger venue for one the viewing events, and today I'm at AT&T Park, home of the San Francisco Giants, where the public can watch the game on the giant high-definition scoreboard for free.

Judging from the parking lot and line to get in, attendance here could easily reach a couple few thousand, with fans being invited to sit in club-level stadium seats to watch the scoreboard or hang out inside to watch the games on flat screens.
