Nothing seems to be going right for Siena this season. The defending CBI champions have battled injury after injury and have limped to a 6-10 start.
Now the Saints can't even dunk in pregame without causing a calamity.
Check out what happened after freshman Willem Brandwijk threw down an innocent-enough-looking reverse slam during pregame warm-ups before Friday night's game at Canisius.

In case you're wondering, Siena was not penalized for dunking in pregame, because that rule only applies once the refs arrive on the court around 20 minutes before the game. The opening tipoff was delayed for an hour, however, as the Canisius crew worked to install a new backboard.

Once the game did begin, things didn't get any better for Siena -- the Saints lost 83-49 on a forgettable night in Buffalo.
The team's ever-quotable head coach, Jimmy Patsos, summed it up quite nicely after the game.
Siena's Jimmy Patsos: "The reason the backboard broke is like, everything in our program is broke this year."
