Twitter suspension can't stop Watson

Kashif Watson is off Twitter suspension and latching onto an NBA summer league summer league team.

The former Idaho guard who saw his Senior Night ruined and his college career ended after being suspended indefinitely for calling out coach Don Verlin on Twitter has resurfaced on the Golden State Warriors' summer league roster.

And if you're doubting Watson's ability to stick in the NBA after two years at Idaho and two years at different junior colleges, consider that the league does have its share of Twitter pioneers.

Shaquille O'Neal was one of Twitter's first celebrity users, and Charlie Villanueva was first to tweet during halftime. Mark Cuban and Brandon Jennings have both been fined for their tweets.

Watson, the brother of Warriors free agent guard C.J. Watson, has shown the ability to adapt so he likely won't have to worry about running afoul of the NBA's social media guidelines.

His Twitter account is now set to private.
