With the Pennsylvania state football championships Friday and Saturday, NittanyNation decided to compile a list of competing Penn State targets and what other recruits to watch out for.

With just eight teams left, there's little time left to scout or performances left to watch. So here are the teams and players to keep an eye on in Hershey, Pa.:

Class A championship - Clairton vs. Dunmore, 1 p.m. Friday

ATH Tyler Boyd, 4 stars, ESPN 300

Clairton (Pa.), 6-foot-1, 175 pounds, Class of 2013

(Wears No. 23)

Synopsis: Penn State is still pushing strong for Boyd -- even though he said two weeks ago that PSU was his No. 6 school. Penn State assistants Charles London and Stan Hixon attended a Clairton practice last week, and the Lions also paid him an in-home visit. At least one member of the staff will be in the stands for Friday's game, again checking in on Boyd.

OL James McHale

Dunmore (Pa.), 6-6, 289, Class of 2014

(Wears No. 74)

Synopsis: He's a big kid, and he's been up to watch Penn State multiple times this season. Assistant coach Mac McWhorter sat in for his game Nov. 30, and it's clear McHale has high interest in Penn State. About a dozen colleges are recruiting him, and he said PSU is recruiting him the most. He has no offers yet, however.

Non-PSU recruits to watch: Clairton CB Titus Howard (Pitt commit), Clairton ATH Terrish Webb (Kent State commit)
