San Diego's Antonio Gates tied Witten with four first-place votes. But it's hard to ignore Witten's efforts. He's not the fastest tight end or the most athletic, but he's a talented threat in the passing game and runs some of the best routes in the league at his position.
Witten had 10 games with five or more catches and five games with at least 75 yards receiving. He was second on the team in receiving first downs with 49 -- Miles Austin was first with 51 -- and first with 19 first downs on third and fourth downs.
