Cowboys' J.J. Wilcox has a sprained knee

IRVING, Texas -- The Dallas Cowboys' injury list grew a little longer when an MRI revealed that starting safety J.J. Wilcox suffered a sprained right knee in Thursday's practice.

If Wilcox is unavailable for Sunday's game against the Detroit Lions, the Cowboys could move Danny McCray or rookie Jeff Heath into the lineup beside the other starting safety, Barry Church.

Cowboys defensive end Kyle Wilber also underwent an MRI on Thursday, but they didn't say what his health issue was other than it was more of a precaution.
