Want to make Alfred Morris happy? Try Banana Nut Cheerios

FRISCO, Texas -- To say Alfred Morris was happy is a massive understatement. He was so happy he put a video of him dancing on Twitter.

No, we aren’t talking about his 27-carry, 127-yard, one-touchdown effort in the Dallas Cowboys' win last week against his former team, the Washington Redskins, although that was extremely pleasing.

What made Morris so happy was finding Banana Nut Cheerios back in his grocery store.

“I saw a lot of people complaining online a while ago when they were trying to find the cereal, ‘Oh, no, they took out Banana Nut Cheerios,’” Morris said. ‘I was like, ‘This is some bull. They took the best Cheerios away,’ but when they brought it back I was genuinely excited.”

General Mills noticed Morris’ tweet and is sending him a care package of some kind.

“I didn’t think anything would come out of it,” Morris said. “I was just like, ‘Thank you.’”

Maybe next time Morris should show a public display for his love of Bentley, the luxury car.

“No, no,” he said. “Luxury cars are just not for me.”

Morris’ affinity for Banana But Cheerios is a lifetime in the making, but he has dreamed up a combination that he has yet to try.

“I was always a banana kid and one of my favorite combinations is chocolate, peanut butter and bananas,” he said. “And I actually have some peanut butter, chocolate Cheerios and I plan on mixing then with the Banana Nut Cheerios. In my head this sounds like it’s going to taste good.”
