Mississippi coach Houston Nutt brought his Rebels to Dallas last year for the 73rd and final game played at the Cotton Bowl. The 74th version will be played at Cowboys Stadium in Arlington on Jan. 2. Ole Miss is back to face Oklahoma State.
The venue change actually changes the dynamics of just about everything. For instance, instead of staying at hotel in Dallas, the Rebels are spending the week at the new Omni Hotel in downtown Fort Worth.
"The AT&T Cotton Bowl, it's a little bit different," Nutt said. "To me, it's bigger, it's better, so there's a new, little flavor to everything. Of course it starts right out here in this big-time stadium."
The former Arkansas coach sure knows how to get to Jerry Jones' soft spot, doesn't he?
