David Thorpe, an NBA analyst for ESPN.com's Scouts Inc., scouted the NBA potential of three high-profile college centers, including Texas' Dexter Pittman.
Here's his thoughts on Pittman:
There is no doubt he is a fluid athlete -- from the waist down -- which is impressive for a man of his size. But his lack of upper-body control is a major problem, earning him fouls and making it tough to defend someone when the offensive player changes directions. If in two years he has a lean and chiseled body, then without a doubt he will have a real chance to earn rotation minutes in the NBA. If not, it will be tough for him to ever get going.
