The Oklahoma-South Carolina game on Day 2 of the College World Series is in another rain delay.
The game started nearly 4 1/2 hours after the scheduled 1 p.m. starting time. The game moved fairly quickly until lightning in the area and more rain resulted in another delay with the Sooners ahead, 3-2, in the bottom of the sixth.
Caleb Bushyhead has homered and driven in two runs for Oklahoma. OU starter Matt Rocha allowed two runs on five hits and three walks through six innings. It's unlikely that Rocha will continue after play resumes with the Sooners batting in the bottom of the sixth.
In case you missed it, ESPN2 is showing TCU's win over Florida State in Saturday's CWS opener during the weather delay.
UPDATE: The tarp is coming off the field and the game is scheduled to resume at 9 p.m. CT.
