TCU assistant one of nation's top recruiters

TCU co-offensive coordinator/running backs coach Jarrett Anderson was recognized by ESPN Recruiting's Corey Long and Jamie Newberg as one of the nation's 25 best recruiters.

Anderson helped lure Tyler John Tyler athlete David Bush and safety Chris Hackett as well as Dade City (Fla.) Pasco safety Jamie Byrd to TCU from the Class of 2011.

Here's how Long and Newberg describe Anderson:

He's one of the aces for Gary Patterson's TCU program and is always strong in the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex and east Texas in general. This past recruiting season, he had his hand in landing teammates Bush and Hackett, and he helped the Horned Frogs flip Byrd from Boise State right before signing day.

Louisville's Clint Hurtt was named recruiter of the year.
