Five TCU baseball players drafted on Day 2

Fiive TCU baseball players were drafted on the second day of the MLB Draft. Catcher Bryan Holaday (sixth round) went to the Detroit Tigers, and he was followed by teammates RP Greg Holle (11th round, Milwaukee), SP Steven Maxwell (12th round, Minnesota), 1B Matt Curry (16th round, Pittsburgh) and RP Tyler Lockwood (25th round, Boston).

With five players selected in the first 30 rounds of the draft, TCU tied with Rice for the second-most players drafted in the state of Texas on Tuesday. Texas led the way with seven players drafted. Baylor, Houston and UT-Arlington each had four players selected.
