The weekly Cowboys Stock Report

OK, after a 31-24 loss to the Giants on Sunday we look at who played well and who didn't in our weekly Stock Report of the Cowboys.

Stock Up

Jason Witten. The tight end had a career-high 156 yards on 14 catches in the loss. Tony Romo threw 16 passes his way. Unreal.

Anthony Spencer. The only mistake he made was getting sucked in on Kevin Boss and forgetting to cover Brandon Jacobs. Spencer had five tackles, two tackles for loss, one forced fumble and three quarterback hurries.

Mike Jenkins. He's the best corner on this team. Jenkins grabbed an interception, his fourth of the season, knocked down two passes and had three tackles.

Stock Down

Nick Folk. He missed two kicks, from 57 and 42. Folk blamed the operation for the miss on the 42 yarder, but he's clearly not the same kicker he was last season.

Flozell Adams. Justin Tuck called him a dirtbag and that was the nice word. Adams pushed Tuck from the back and grabbed the facemask of another player near the end of the first half. He's going to get fined or suspended.

Wade Phillips. The head coach said the media is making up the December records of the past. The media doesn't make up wins and losses. Phillips' denials about the late season problems could hurt the team more than anything.
