According to a source, Cowboys left tackle Flozell Adams was fined $50,000 by the league today.
Adams did not return a text message seeking comment. Adams' agent Jordan Woy said Adams did get fined but didn't see the amount. Cowboys' officials were unavailable for comment.
Normally the league announces suspensions on Tuesdays and fines on Friday. Sometimes, if the fines are huge amounts those totals are released sooner.
Adams' conduct was under review after he pushed Tuck in the back at the end of the first half. He also grabbed the facemask of defensive end Mathias Kiwanuka.
On Monday, Adams told league officials in a conference call he thought there was time left on the clock and that's why he engaged Tuck.
Adams was given a personal foul penalty.
The Cowboys didn't believe Adams would get suspended, but realized a fine was a possibility.
Adams has been fined several times by the league this season. In the season opener, he was fined $5,000 for unnecessary roughness in a game against Tampa Bay. In Week 2, Adams was fined twice, once for kicking defensive end Osi Umenyiora and for later kicking Tuck, who fell down and hurt his shoulder. He was fined $12,500 for both fouls.
