Redskins' stinker vs. Giants 'irrelevant'

IRVING, Texas -- The Dallas Cowboys have cable television, so they're well aware that the Washington Redskins looked awful in last night's loss to the New York Giants.

But the Redskins' pathetic performance will have no impact on the preparation at Valley Ranch this week.

"That's irrelevant, man," DE Marcus Spears said. "This is not high school where you know you're going to win when you step on the field."

While the Cowboys assume the Redskins will put up a fight in a rivalry game, that's not their primary concern this week.

"It's not about who we're playing," LB Bradie James said. "Just like it was the week before ann the week before, it's how we play and what we can control."
