Ken Hamlin fined for two penalties

IRVING -- The NFL announced that Cowboys safety Ken Hamlin was fined $12,500 for two unnecessary roughness violations in the NFC wild card game vs. the Eagles.

Hamlin hit Eagles tight end Brent Celek in the chin and Jeremy Maclin out of bounds. The referees ruled that Hamlin's hit was illegal because Celek was a defenseless receiver and he nailed Maclin after the play was over.
