SAN ANTONIO -- For the second consecutive day, the Cowboys made a roster move.
Outside linebacker Jay Moore was expected to sign a contract but did not.
Instead, the Cowboys signed former Texas Tech standout defensive end Brandon Sharpe to a free-agent deal Sunday. Sharpe will play outside linebacker for the Cowboys, who were looking for another pass rusher.
As it stands now, the Cowboys have 13 linebackers on their roster.
To make room on the roster for Sharpe, the team released wide receiver Verran Tucker.
