SAN ANTONIO -- Second-round linebacker Sean Lee planned to practice this weekend. That won't happen.
The team's medical staff hasn't cleared Lee to return from a strained quadriceps yet. He'll run during the afternoon practice and continue to plead his case.
"I feel great," Lee said. "It's up to the doctors when they let me go. I'm just letting them know that I feel good and lets be aggressive."
The coaches aren't too concerned about Lee missing practices because he has displayed a firm grasp of the defensive scheme.
UPDATE: Wade Phillips said he hopes Lee is cleared to practice Wednesday.
