ARLINGTON -- Cowboys wide receiver Roy Williams wouldn't say if his lower back and hip were going to keep him out of the regular-season opener vs. Washington on Sept. 12.
Williams missed Tuesday's practice with a sore lower back and a hip flexor, something that's bothered him most of training camp.
Jerry Jones said Williams is fine and should be ready for the Redskins game.
"The trainers have given me no indication that he won’t be," Jones said of Williams' availability to play in the opener.
Starting right tackle Marc Colombo, who is recovering from knee surgery to clean out some loose cartilage, said he wasn't sure about his status for the season opener.
Colombo said he's feeling really good and it's up to the doctors as to when he'll be cleared to practice.
