Wade Phillips gets lowest coach rating

According to readers who voted on ESPN.com, Wade Phillips did the worst job of any NFL coach in the opening weekend.

As of 5:30 CT Tuesday, Phillips had a 13 percent approval rating. Three other coaches, Minnesota's Brad Childress (14 percent), Oakland's Tom Cable (16 percent) and Chicago's Lovie Smith (18 percent), had approval ratings of less than 20 percent.

Houston coach Gary Kubiak led the voting with 92 percent approval. Washington's win over the Cowboys earned Mike Shanahan an 89 percent rating, good for third overall.
