ARLINGTON, Texas -- Tight end Martellus Bennett wore a walking boot and a frown as he exited Cowboys Stadium.
Bennett suffered a sprained right ankle during the 34-27 loss to the Titans. It was serious enough that he had to have teammates help him from his locker to the showers.
It is not the same ankle that caused Bennett to miss extended time during training camp.
The normally talkative Bennett declined comment as he left the locker room.
Bennett finished with two catches for 19 yards. Two of the other three passes intended for him were intercepeted.
One of those interceptions could have been Bennett's first touchdown since his rookie season. Tony Romo's pass on the seam route was a little high, but Bennett got both hands on the ball, which Titans safety Michael Griffin caught on the rebound in the end zone.
