ARLINGTON, Texas -- Rookie fullback Chris Gronkowski won’t have a costly blown assignment this week.
Gronkowski is inactive the week after his mental mistake allowed Giants linebacker Michael Boley to come clean on a blitz and deliver the hit that broke Tony Romo’s left collarbone.
It’s the second time this season that Gronkowski has been inactive. He sat out the Oct. 10 loss to the Tennessee Titans due to a strained groin.
Gronkowski is the only fullback on the roster, but third tight end Scott Chandler handled those duties well against the Titans.
