IRVING, Texas -- The Cowboys will at least look like professionals under their interim coach.
Jason Garrett changed the dress code for charter flights, requiring players to wear sportcoats, ties, slacks and dress shoes. They previously were required to wear only sportscoats and slacks on the outgoing plane ride, and players dressed however they liked on the way home.
This change is along the same lines of Garrett's edict to keep the locker room clean, which led to Roy Williams handing out fines to teammates for infractions such as leaving used athletic tape on the floor Thursday afternoon.
Garrett wants a disciplined, detail-oriented team. That starts from the second players report to the facility or airport.
