Haley played from 1986-1996. He was a Cowboys defensive end from 1992-1996.
Sanders, who played from 1989-2005, was a Cowboy from 1995-1996.
It seems Sanders is a strong candidiate.

The list of 26 semifinalists will be reduced to 15 modern-era finalists. That list increases to 17 finalist with the inclusion of the two recommended candidates of the Hall of Fame’s Seniors Committee.
The results of the modern-era reduction vote to 15 finalists will be announced in January.
