IRVING, Texas -- Cowboys linebacker Bradie James expects a lockout to occur.
"It's imminent, so it will happen," James said Monday as the Cowboys cleaned out their lockers. "It will be here before we know it."
James, a player representative for the Cowboys, also said he believes the owners and players will get something done before the 2011 season is scheduled to begin.
"I have no idea how long, but in my true heart of hearts I feel like something will get done this summer," James said. "Cooler heads will prevail. Everybody loves this game -- owners, players -- so it's all about what we do and what we love and giving entertainment to the fans. So we will be playing."
James says players must treat this offseason as if the 2011 seasons will start on time as scheduled.
