IRVING, Texas -- Several Cowboys are either set for surgery or had surgery already.
While cornerback Orlando Scandrick is scheduled for surgery Tuesday on his left index finger, linebacker Bradie James is scheduled to have surgery on Jan. 18 on his left knee. James was slowed for most of the season with a sprained right posterior cruciate ligament but did not miss a game and will not need surgery on his right knee.
It will be Scandrick’s second surgery on the finger in less than a year. He suffered the injury during a organized team activity last May but was able to make it through the season wearing a splint for added protection.
Wide receiver Jesse Holley will have surgery Thursday on his left knee to repair a meniscus tear. Holley was slowed the last few weeks of the regular season with the injury but did not miss a game.
Guard Travis Bright, who spent the year on the practice squad, had surgery on his foot last week.
