Witten, Bryant honored by Sporting News

IRVING, Texas -- For the second time in his career Jason Witten was named to the Sporting News’ All-Pro team.

Witten caught 94 passes for 1,002 yards and a career-high nine touchdowns in 2010. He was named to the magazine’s All-Pro team in 2007, too.

Witten was the only Cowboy to be represented on the team.

Wide receiver Dez Bryant was named to the Sporting News’ All-Rookie team and finished fourth in the voting for Rookie of the year behind Detroit’s Ndamukong Suh, St. Louis’ Sam Bradford and New England’s Devin McCourty.

Bryant’s rookie season was cut short because of a fractured right fibula suffered on Dec. 5 at Indianapolis but he finished with 45 catches for 561 yards and six touchdowns. He also returned two punts for scores, averaging 14.3 yards a return and 24.4 yards per kickoff return.
