Mavericks owner Mark Cuban is never shy when it comes to opinions, but when asked about the current labor issues between the NFL players and the owner, things got quiet.
"I can understand it," Cuban said prior to the Mavericks-Spurs game Friday night. "But I’m not going to say a word on it. I can’t comment on it period, that’s just the rules."
The NFL owners have decided to lock out the players after nearly two weeks of meditation resulted in a war or words between the sides. The players union decertified and is now a trade association that filed an injunction to end the lockout. An April 6 court date has been set.
