Tony Romo’s affection for golf has always been a hot topic of debate for Cowboys fans. And with the NFL in a lockout, does that mean Romo would spend less time on football and more time on the course?
During the second round of the American Century Celebrity Golf Championship at Lake Tahoe, where Romo is among the leaders, Mark Rolfing asked the quarterback how the uncertainty of the labor situation has affected not only football, but golf.
“It really hasn’t changed,” Romo said. “My routine is still the same. From an NFL player’s standpoint, you have to prepare for the season whether we have a lockout or not, and every day you’re committed to doing that when you wake up. I’ll play in the four or five tournaments a year like I always do, and I did the same thing this year.”
