Montrae Holland leaves with back issue

SAN ANTONIO -- Cowboys starting right guard Montrae Holland left the walkthrough practice with a stiff back Friday morning. Holland walked slowly through the tunnel at the Alamodome to the locker room area during the middle of practice.

His status for the afternoon session is uncertain. Holland left practice on Wednesday during field goal drills with a minor knee injury but returned.

Fourth-round pick David Arkin replaced on the first-team on Friday.

Holland is replacing Leonard Davis, whom the Cowboys released due to salary cap reasons last week.
