Jenkins, Ratliff, Holland out vs. Denver

SAN ANTONIO -- Most of the time when Jason Garrett is asked about injured players he says they are day-to-day, but he all but ruled out seeing cornerback Mike Jenkins (stinger), nose tackle Jay Ratliff (hip) and guard Montrae Holland (back) from Thursday’s preseason opener against Denver at Cowboys Stadium.

“Most of the guys who have been out will continue to be out,” Garrett said.

Jenkins has been limited in practice since suffering the stinger, while Holland and Ratliff have missed the four days of work. Wide receiver Manny Johnson (concussion) took part in Tuesday’s walkthrough but Titus Ryan (foot) has missed the last three days

Running backs Tashard Choice (calf) and DeMarco Murray (hamstring) and linebacker Keith Brooking (hamstring) could begin practicing next week. Choice was hurt during the first workout and Brooking was hurt on the second. Murray is on the non-football injury list having entered camp with his injury.
