Cowboys release wide receiver

ARLINGTON, Texas -- The Cowboys released wide receiver Dominique Edison on Monday.

Edison, who missed the afternoon practice with a knee injury, was given an injury settlement. Edison, from Stephen F. Austin, played with Seattle last season.

The Cowboys currently have 87 players on the roster.

The NFL limit for players on the roster is 90.

Currently the wide receivers are: Teddy Williams (out with hamstring injury), Lyle Leong, Dwayne Harris, Manuel Johnson, Jesse Holley, James Cleveland, Miles Austin, Curtis Clay, Tysson Poots, Kevin Ogletree, Raymond Radway and Dez Bryant.
