Miles Austin status uncertain

IRVING, Texas -- Cowboys wide receiver Miles Austin missed Thursday's practice with the San Diego Chargers with a tight hamstring.

Following the practice, Austin was asked is he going to practice on Friday and he said, "We'll see."

His status for Sunday's second preseason game is also uncertain.

With Austin out, Kevin Ogletree worked with Dez Bryant on the first-team.

"Just got to see day-to-day and we don't think it's a serious injury," coach Jason Garrett said of Austin. "We didn't think it was smart to have him go out and practice [Thursday]. We'll see how he responds on treatment [Thursday afternoon] and make a judgement on tomorrow's practice."
