ARLINGTON, Texas -- Charles Haley won five Super Bowl titles, three with Dallas and two with San Francisco.
And with Haley getting selected for the Cowboys' Ring of Honor on Friday afternoon, there was a question about who does the pass rusher relate to.
"I look at myself as a individual but this day has opened my eyes to a lot of different [things]," Haley said. "The biggest thing is Bill Walsh, a guy who is one of the greatest coaches I ever played with. He instilled so much in me that I can never forget that man. I could never forget the 49ers. They taught me the game of football. The love of the game came when I came [to Dallas]."
Jerry Jones said he thinks of Haley more as a Dallas Cowboy.
