DeMarcus Ware (back) isn't practicing

IRVING, Texas -- Pro Bowl outside linebacker DeMarcus Ware was not practicing during the media access period Wednesday.

Ware had back spasms during his two-sack performance Sunday against the Patriots.

Guard Derrick Dockery, who ran Monday for the first time since spraining his MCL and suffering a slight fracture in his tibia during the Week 2 win, also did not practice.

Montrae Holland, who re-signed Tuesday, worked at left guard with the starting offensive line during pre-practice drills. Kevin Kowalski, who filled in after Bill Nagy suffered a season-ending broken ankle in Sunday's loss, was working with the scout-team punt return unit at the time.

Running back Felix Jones (high ankle sprain) and Jason Hatcher (calf strain) did not practice and are expected to miss Sunday's game.

Fullback Tony Fiammetta (hamstring) and kickoff specialist David Buehler (groin) dressed out after missing the last few games.
