ARLINGTON, Texas -- Cornerback Mike Jenkins will undergo an MRI on his right shoulder Monday morning after he said it popped out on an awkward fall to the turf in the end zone in the second quarter.
Jenkins returned but was limited to just a handful of situational snaps. He aggravated the injury in the fourth quarter on a deep ball to Mario Manningham. He had his arm in a harness when he returned to the game.
Jenkins has battled a number of injuries this year, starting with a stinger suffered early in training camp. In the season opener at the New York Jets, Jenkins hurt his shoulder but continued to play. He suffered a hamstring injury Oct. 30 at Philadelphia and missed four games before returning last week at Arizona.
Safety Barry Church suffered two injuries to his right shoulder but managed to return both times.
Center Phil Costa left the game in the second quarter with a concussion and was replaced by rookie Kevin Kowalski. With a Saturday kickoff at Tampa Bay, Costa might not have enough time to pass the mandated tests before playing again.
