Buehler's surgery lasts 2 1/2 hours

IRVING, Texas -- Cowboys kicker David Buehler was walking to the equipment room on crutches on Wednesday afternoon. Buehler said he underwent a two and half hour surgery on Tuesday to repair a torn labrum in his hip.

Buehler said the surgery is not related to a groin injury that has him on injured reserve.

Buehler said he'll be on crutches for two weeks and isn't sure when he'll start kicking.

"I think I'll be better," Buehler said.
