Practice report: Ryan Cook sits again, 3 return

IRVING, Texas – Center Ryan Cook appears to be missing his second straight day of practice with a sore knee, but three injured players looked to be making a return to practice in some fashion in fullback Lawrence Vickers, cornerback Mike Jenkins and defensive end Sean Lissemore.

Vickers did not practice Wednesday because of a sprained knee, and Jenkins has been slowed the last week with back spasms. Lissemore has missed the last four games with a high ankle sprain.

Running back DeMarco Murray is on the practice field for the second straight day, but it’s not clear if he will practice or go through more rehab on the field from his sprained left foot.

Practice squad wide receiver Danny Coale left practice during kickoff return drills with an apparent left leg injury. He needed help off the field and was carted to the locker room.

Matt Johnson (hamstring) and center Phil Costa (ankle) are not practicing. Johnson could return in a week or two.
