As for anybody else, coach Jason Garrett isn't saying.
Multiple sources said Romo isn't playing along with selected veteran players. Garrett confirmed Albright and Livings are out for the Hall of Fame Game but wouldn't comment on Romo.
Garrett said the coaching staff, along with the personnel staff, have discussed the playing rotation in some fashion for the Dolphins game. He just won't say.
"Nothing I really want to share about the specifics of playing time," Garrett said of the meeting. "It's a structure that's probably pretty similar to the first preseason games throughout the years in 32 NFL cities."
The Cowboys offensive line has issues given the lost of Livings, a projected starter who will miss two-to-four weeks, and backup right guard Kevin Kowalski, who is also out nearly a month after minor knee surgery. Tackles Jermey Parnell and Demetress Bell, guard Ray Dominguez, center/guard Ryan Cook and guard Mackenzy Bernadeau also are nursing injuries.
Garrett said Bernadeau is scheduled to see his first action of camp in the Friday afternoon practice.
"Injuries provide opportunity," Garrett said about the offensive line. "You will see a lot of the younger guys play a lot in this ballgame and we think that's good. It's good for them and it's good for us to be able to evaluate those guys. We want to make sure when you come through training camp you give everybody on the roster a chance. And the best chances are in the preseason games, so those guys will get a lot of work."
